The Need
The creation of a business improvement process gave rise to a need for
skilled facilitators to work in a range of project improvement teams.
DDA Consulting were asked to design & deliver a training programme
aimed at:
Getting the new
facilitators ‘up to speed’ quickly
Developing their
facilitation skills
Coaching improvements
Creating a future
development programme
Providing ongoing
support
Providing materials
& documentation to support the improvement process
Our Solution
In response we developed and ran a modular programme with three x three
day project based (indoor & outdoor) training sessions; individual
coaching on ‘live’ projects; facilitation of major projects
including a series of ‘clinics’ covering problem issues and
ongoing telephone support.
Results/outcomes
Feedback from the whole programme was extremely positive with additional
support requested for subsequent newly appointed facilitators. The facilitators
were immediately able to run several in house improvement initiatives
and their interventions continue to be successful – adding both
skills and value to their business improvement process.
